Awarded one MICHELIN Star in the 2019 MICHELIN Guide, New Punjab Club became the world’s first Punjabi restaurant to receive the honour, one which has been retained for seven consecutive years. In the Making of New Punjab Club, we look back on the early days of the restaurant, from its inception and ideation to the challenges presented in changing the perception of what was considered an entirely new cuisine for many outside of the region and finally, into its eventual rise as the world’s first Punjabi restaurant to be awarded a MICHELIN star.
